I notice that both of your tanks have little to no penetration.. isn't that a problem? It cuts down on damage you can do to the enemy tank no?

I have no problems seeing any of the stories, scenes, or skins in sharp detail...new or old.
I've seen Sarah, Meiling, Rena, Tabby, Odette, Violette, Zoya, and Victoria. I'm working on one of the very newest...Lila...and so far it's fine as well.

I run AB on Chrome, if that makes any difference.

The second tank in those pics is a heavy and all about taking damage not giving it so it doesn't matter. The 1st one crits almost 40% of the time for 2200+ damage.... armour in this game is a flat reduction so after you get to a certain level of damage it does not matter anymore with or without pen.
2k damage is still nasty as all hell and not that different from 2.2k, 500 or 700 is not that big a change either. From what I have seen crit is much stronger then pen for additional damage.

But I was stuck for awhile until I started to stack on penetration and then it helped me progress in the story.. then again most of my tanks is 3*s.. so who knows.

yeah it gets rough fast with 3*s... but 4*s are easy to get so just keep those factory slots running and buy a couple of the 4*s from the research and you will be fine in no time.

Not a problem because Cerys is a Heavy tank and she doesn't need penetration while Diane is an artillery so she hits big numbers to the point if she crits she can one shot some tanks. Pen also doesn't do much as most tanks that you shoot at dont have much armor except their heavies which gets shredded through Valor emblems for tanks like stridsvagan, type 59 or any medium with decent attack speed. 3*s just get obsolete so fast.

For the blurry scene issue I wasn't the only one who filed a report on it according to the devs so it is an issue they are working on.

Just met the crystal in Ocica.

Lol no way I will spend time grinding for that.
I can live without put days or weeks into that map. That's for sure.

Going to wait for Halloween thing and decide from here if I am done or not.

Halloween event is out. Runs for a total of 21 days. Seems like a lot of grinding, but the event area itself is zero oil cost. Event area, like PoC, does not count toward map battles. Two paths on event area, one for each 5* event tank's specific currency (2 bat wings per bat wing path map for M3 Satan (L). 2 ghosts per ghost path map for Panzerwerfer (A), each worth 300 points out of 225,000 required for each tank's path, so 750 of each will be required to max out both, 475 of each if you just want one copy of each of the event tanks). Generic currency (jack-o-lanterns, 1 point each) usable for both is available on the main map, but hardly a drop in the bucket for the event.

Each 'path' has intermediate goals along the way. The 3,000 point goal is 3K oil, 100 cores, 10 candies, and a 4-5* tank (Churchill Crocodile for me, a new one). 60,000 point goal is 10K currency, 100 cores, 2 spin tickets, and a 5* emblem. 142,500 point goal is 100 cores, 5 tickets, a 4-5* emblem, and one copy of the path's tank. The full 225,000 point goal is 100 candies, 2,000 blueprints, and two copies of the path's tank.

I received an entire daily mission's worth of medallions from running some event tiles, and also received 1-3* tanks from others. You can reset the event area for 150 cores...presumably that's for 'resetting early' and I hope will not be required every day.

Also, our request for additional platoon slots has been answered. Cost is 300 cores for each, max of five platoons. New platoons count as extra tank storage.

Just an FYI for those who have not done the math. If you do the 150 core reset it is only worth the price if you can clear ALL missions on the map.

If you can not clear all of them then save your cores for the 50 / 50 currency for 250 cores in the exchange section that you can only buy once a day.

So unless you can clear the full thing, its not worth resetting, and going for the exchange instead ?

God... the sheer fact that you have to spent CORES on an event to progress rubs me the wrong way...
Id be happy with just one tank per Event, like these sort of events usually work in other games of this type, but without the need to spend core which is the main currency for unlocking game mechanics, stuff and pulling gacha.
Even if it cost oil or something. Its nice its Oil free, but you still have to repair your tanks unlike in PoC.
Kinda... .... .... I am happy that we finally got an event, but the whole thing rubs me the wrong way, in how its all setup to work.

Bugs: Seems the update broke the Auto Play button. When hit, it pops up the menu just as if you hit the "Pause" button on the left. Very annoying.
When you run PoC mission, after you finish it kicks you into the Event map, instead of the World Map. Its annoying to navigate back through multiple screens just to do the same once you complete another one.
