In practice, they want to ban any game where you buy something, but you don't know what you have purchased until afterwards. This has pretty significant ramifications for Nutaku. I'd argue most of the purchases in these games fit under that description. Unit pulls in project Kamihime, Armor Blitz, Girls on tanks, Flower Knight Girl, Dragon Providence, Mononofu, etc. etc.

Senator in Hawaii is apparently working with other senators in attempting something similar in the US of A.
My hunch is that this wont get passed. These moral signaling old farts can attempt it as many times as they want. Gambling is a huge revenue for the goverment because it can and is taxed by law - how much, depends on each country and its laws, but in my country anything you win through gambling, lottery, random events etc, is getting taxed if you want to claim the prize.

I assume same goes for .... well... everywhere. And if we are talking about loot boxes, big 3A gaming companies who create bunch of money through their services wont just idly standby. Microtransactions for Loot Boxes and similar stuff are huge part of their profit for literally zero effort. And in the end its always about money. Once the shareholders of these companies (who usually have invested money in other companies as well since most of the big companies around the world areowned by a small % of people) see this, they gonna have a discussion with the people in politics and this nonsense will dissappear.
We have seen this before, it just repeats itself.

    Well I got nine!
    ...total. Two this pass.

I do have a working theory that the cornucopia drops AREN'T entirely random. I think your chance of getting one is higher when there's live enemy turkey tanks on the board.
. . .can't actually test that 'till next reset though. Also trying to avoid killing them is difficult. You can tell I'm getting bored with something when I start making up challenge mode crap like this.

Yea, like I said, it only takes one bad run.

I only got 18 free connucopias myself with only two runs left before the event ends, so I imagine I wouldn't get the tank either (but I brought some bags with cores because I wanted the drumsticks for other things so I'm good now). I really don't think even one person will get that tank without spending cores (although the possibility of someone being that insanely lucky does exist. It's just really really puny from what I can tell)

Tested. Bunk. No notable effect between killing the turkey tanks and letting them survive. Drop rate of cornucopias remained a level 0 this pass regardless.

Happy Thanksgiving, all. Sorry, that's not as sardonic as it sounds juxtaposed this post. I mean that. Happy Turkey Day.

Have yet to see any dicernable difference between elite and non-elite tank in "real world" circumstances.
It is obviously there, but it has no effect as to what I can and cannot do with the team.

I suppose the absolute reign of skills over almost everything else is much of the reason and the rest is due to the randomness of the game.

So it does matter, but not terribly much if something is +/- 10% or 20%, because when push comes to shove, either the skill is up and running and the tank lives or it is not, in which case the tank dies.

A simple example of this can be seen using the Maus, who has a huge stat and hp bonus built into her and it does not matter much on the battlefield, her cost and long timer before her skill can be used on the other hand are of paramount importance.

Anyways, means I see no reason to pay with real life to get an elited 5* tank over an 5*. So I have napped my 5* and spend rest of time on vacation

Best of luck to those that decided to do the turkey trot.

For me this girl will be affection maxed and then perma benched. I dont like super expensive tanks and this one is hell´u´va expensive for my taste. She herself is quite nice to look at but that spider armor of her, nu-uh.
Will try to max her out, but dont think I drop any more cores for that purpose.
