As expected, no 55x gacha anymore. I'm glad I did it last time.

New girls are cool. Nightshade looks really nice even if she is not that good in battle. Larkspur is nice too. Good 5* Crit girl. The new event girl has a great potential after promotion. She just lacks a bit of offensive buff. The little fox girl is super cute. I love it!
The new promoted girl, Hydrangea, is a really REALLY good Counter girl.
+25% ATK for all. Nice. Why not.
+30% DEF for all and Guts. That's good.
100% Counter with x4 DEF and Super counter. Basic but good counter stuff.
Skill act x2 for all after being attacked. Really interesting. She wll be attacked since she is a counter girl. And it helps a lot girls with HP draining skill like herself. Good to do more damages and survive longer.
+20% Damage for all each turn (+40% max). Increase damages by 40%. Counter damages ARE damages. Considering a good counter team will survive more than 2 turns, she just increase counter damages for the whole party by 40%. Counter damages are already really high. +40% is just awesome. And it help for skill damages too to recover more HP.

Good girl.

I am sure we will see the 55x again in the future. I dont think they will drop a mechanic that has already been introduced.
Depending how much money it made for them will most likely dictate how often they do the 55x.

Now on a personal level I feel like it was because the 6* featured was relatively meh (not 2nd pumpkin level of meh, but still meh), and thats why they tried that.
Coz - and I am sure of this - if they did this for Wallnut just two weeks prior, dude.... everyone and their mother would run with Wallnut in their party. I sure as hell would !

For now I will keep sitting on my gems. Need to replenish the pile, and will hope to see a 55x that actually is of relevance for me. Some nice Crit girl (though honestly they´d be hard pressed to do anything better than Wallnut. Loquat, Wallnut and Wolfberry are pretty much the crit girl MVPs, but I can see them doing some nice 1st turn crit chan.) would be nice.

It will be really frustrating to see that 55x mechanic on girls you don't like or want but not on girls you really need.
And Cowslip is not that meh . I think Halloween Night Shade is mehier with only ATK buff. Even if it's 120% in the best case.

I decided to dump my gems on 10 rolls (50k gems) and got Larkspur and Kitsune no botan fully unlocked, and got Nightshade with rainbow medals. Her abilities are actually very subpar but she's really hot so yes. Now I need to get her regular 5 star version.

Major disappointment on this event. The only decent looking one that I would actually want is the 6* Nightshade. Larspur's outfit looks actually really good in design, but I wish it was one someone more womanly instead of kawaii. That fox thing is absolute TRASH! Keep kitsunes like Red Spider Lily and Akagi/Kaga in Azur Lane: Busty and beautiful women! Definitely saving up my FGs and not bothering with this one. Hope that if the next event is somehow also Halloween themed that it will have some better girls.

As for the event I wont be pulling either. Will the Kitsune chan is adorable, but I wanna save up a bit. And I abstained from doing the Dusty Miller and Corn Cockle gachas already, and those girls I do want a lot, so this gacha has no chance.
Halloween Nazuna is neat though.
