Thread: [Chat Chit] DMM FKG

Well for the 2018 year in review, there were so many great girls that it was tough enough to just narrow them down to my ultimate best. So you'll have to forgive me as most cases there is at least a tie. Here is what I thought on those mentioned categories:

Favorite 6* - Japanese Anemone and Paphiopedilum. Japanese Anemone is just pure Japanese elegance to me in her design and beauty, fitting for a queen after all. Her animations look wonderful too. Paphi was also just as incredible with her warrior ferocity and a badass sword. Really came off to me as one of the best "knight" looking girls in FKG.

Favorite Event Girl - Adenium and Winter Cherry. Both of these girls are just so beautiful with their colorful designs that they really epitomized the "flower" part of FKG. They are both so lovely to look at.

Favorite Event 5* - Christmas Tiger Lily and Christmas Worm Wood. Two of my favorite 5* girls in the entire game with Christmas alts? Done! Tiger Lily made sure I was the only one for her by coming to me 5 times when rolling. Worm Wood tried to be evasive once again, but ultimately came home. So thrilled to have these 2 beauties home for the holidays!

Biggest surprise of the Year - 10! Yes, 10 natural rainbows dropping this year for me. The only rainbow I really actively went after was Japanese Anemone. Several of which happened when I was only trying for the golds of some events. It still surprises me how they kept coming.

Favorite Event - I honestly don't have a problem with any of the event types, with the exception that I am a bit disappointed they gave the handicap on the card flip to let you know which cards are the important ones. That kind of kills the point of a card flip game. So I'll have to go off an event's overall aesthetics coupled with the event girls. I'd have to go with the the two past events for Christmas. They made everything so festive and easily 7 of the 8 girls during these 2 events were amazing that I wanted each one.


Hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May the gacha luck faeries rain their blessing down on all of us in 2019 so we can get our desired waifus. I will still hold out hope that my chocolate OPPAI waifu will finally come in 2019.

Ehh 2000 rainbow medals to get 5 girls to 100. This is an even shittier addition than I thought it was going to be.

Well, the newly added missions sure are a wringer...
I can't see anybody clearing them without at least 3 squads full of fully grown rainbows.

everyone knows you need 20+ rainbows but its getting ridiculous now haha

its too frustrating to wait for Kerria to dodge everything and Rainbow Rose to double critical hit right now...but the new challenge stages actually have an expiry date so thats worrisome

Yeah, I probably won't be able to get their rewards.
Saffron loses her role, since those special attacks hit everyone around her too.

Wrote about it here. Short version: it's not Naae but a limit break dragon that costs 100 rainbow medals.

I never thought i would say that but now there is an addition to the game i really don't like:
The new material which allows you to limit break your Rainbows is way too expensive. 400 Rainbow Medals just to get one girl to level 100 is ridiculously overpriced in my opinion. It's only for harcore whales i guess.

I hope that won't be necessary to beat future maps further down the line. If so that would be troublesome. But i speculate too much again...

So threw 100 Gems on the new gacha, got the one red haired girl I didnt really care about and the rest was pure salt.
The gacha has been quite the ass lately.

Personally I dont like the idea that this last update is going with.
So far DMM has been rather generous, with its FTP model, and there was no real "soft lock" for progression if you didnt pay.

This however changes things from consumer friendly to P2W. And before anyone says anything > Dont try.
I`ve been following the whole EA/Blizzard/Bethesda/Dozens of MMoS monetary plan, loot boxes, content locked behind paywall, etc etc etc for a long while and I know to pick up on it when I see it.
While this update doesnt have to mean anything, it certainly has the bad stink associated with these types of schemes.
In short I dont like it.

But granted since I cant understand the story anyway its not like I care for future maps that much. Just keep on doing my stuff, collecting waifus and all, until eventually I get bored of it one day in the future. So I quess I dont have to worry about it that much, but admittedly I will abstain from spending more on the game for now. (thus passing on the 200 RC deal, which I did pick up last time it was around)

Now as far as the event girls go, they are all cute. I didnt recognize Accaccia at all, until I read it in the text box. They are all cute, fairly high detailed artworks so I am a pleased mofu :3

Plus that dragon Nae fairy .... omg thats much adorbs. I hope they give an option to get her for your garden :3
