^All of the above. The writing was on the wall 2 1/2 years ago when Nutaku took that surprise "fabulous" vacation and left all of us hanging with bugs and issues. Same with translations, from being sloppily made up at times to even being censored; like when Cherry was calling Danchou "Papa" during the affection scene but they kept it as Commander. So sex scenes with a loli that looks under the age of 10 is okay, but roleplay incest is a bridge too far? Including very greedy gacha deals and ridiculous pittance apologies for down time or bugs. It was evident they didn't care for the actual game and were in it for the money. Kudos to those who stuck with it this long, but Nutaku is just not a company I would trust to maintain a game on merit versus greed. They apparently weren't making money anymore as players left, so downsized support to as little as possible until she met her demise. Truly a shame how this all came about.

On the positive side, to all players willing to jump ship: Welcome to DMM FKG and a brand new fresh start with the game you love! There are many more girls, features, and rewards for you to enjoy here on the dark side!

I'm glad I left there in January. Followed the forums on occasion and some helpful person said then was a good time to join DMM. Account here in that time is already far stronger than from playing 2+ years on Nutaku. Hopefully more people will come over.

Honestly we all saw it coming for Nutaku FKG, thus we jumped ship and swam to the DMM shores, where we are living in luxury

Dont regret doing it back then, when I finally dropped it, I knew this will happen sooner or later. Honestly I am surprised it lasted this long.
Ah well.

We`ll see just how many people come to join DMM, as I know for a fact bunch of the folks there couldn't stomach the non english text. Which I can see being an issue for new players mostly, but for those who already know their way around all the different menus and what not, its not really much of a change.

Meanwhile we are approaching yet another summer and Girls Symphony STILL AINT UP .... I am loosing faith that the game will ever launch at this pace. its been what... 2 years ? 3 years ? Since they started the rework and when I was really hopeful once they opened the pre-reg gacha, but seeing as its the beginning of May and the game has still not yet launched I am not sure if there even is a light at the end of this tunnel haah ~ ~

Edit: 30 FG gacha that awards 2 centys is a great deal :3
Got 2 new golds from it, which is nice. Those centys will come in handy, though currently I am short on Super Ampys.

What's the point of switching if I can't read any of the story to understand the characters backgrounds and history?

I'd rather the characters I collect to be more than a pretty face and voice. I like to understand their motivations and the nuances behind their actions.
Plus how they fit in the world.

In any case, I got games like Azur Lane and Girls Frontline to fill my gacha game niche now. With the bonus of having localizers that care, and characters that I can understand.

Maybe if the DMM side starts pushing out English translations like they are for Kamihime DMM, then I'd be interested in returning. But I doubt it.

One and a half years since it closed. Is there any info about who bought GS? Like what other games they're working on while the GS assets gather dust?

English Taimanin Asagi is coming soon and it's unlikely to be the last. FKG being on the banner for the How to Register page isn't a bad sign.
