I would suggest doing so for the Promotion thread, Patch notes thread and chit chat thread, as all of those contain necessary info, but other than Chit chat, dont have the traffic required to keep them on top.

Especially with Pimp Waifu thread, since the comments are being updated, rather than created, the thread is slowly falling deeper into the thread history.
Or maybe you can throw in an occasional comment that the thread has been updated. Since you can always delete your comments, its no problem cleaning the update notifications once a month or so. Just spit balling some ideas
