    Yes they did get them back, within the 24 hours. If those who lost them hadn't gotten them back, I'm confident that FKG Nutaku would have lost 90% of its playerbase right there .

    Also it's worth noting they disappeared on Halloween Day. Which was kind of a funny coincidence.
