Sry guys if i am a little bit off topic now but since this is chit chat i want to talk about Girls Symphony a little bit.

Today i finally got my second preregister Rainbow.

I marked the two girls i have got and i have a few questions about the game in general.

Does the game work with an elemental based battle system? I assume both my Girls are from the Element Fire lol.
But it also looks like this game has a similar weapon system compared to FKG judging by those weapon icons.

Could you guys please explain this to me? I didn't play the game back then so i have absolutely no clue how the system works xD

Well it used to have both elements and weapon types. Its hard to say whats gonna happen once its released after the rework.

Generally the weapon types work(ed) in a way where certain types could attack through multiple lines, while other could not, but would confer a status buff to the unit in front of them.

Not sure if you ever played the game and know how the battle system works, but a quick rundown.

Enemies are on the right, you units are on the left.
Your units are arranged in 3 rows. How you place them in those rows depends solely on you. Only girls in the front row can attack (exception is ranged girls who can attack from second row as well). You can either auto or manually rotate the rows, usually either when the girls get damaged, or you are saving up for a big combo and want to unleash it at a certain time.
Each girls builds her own Combo meter, and once full she uses her skill which can be a anything from a Single to mass AoE attack.
With the exception of Ranged girls, all other girls in the second row use buffs on the characters in the front row.
Those buffs work always only on the character that stands directly in front of them.

Thats pretty much what I remember how it used to be. The game is down over a Year by now, and my memories are getting really hazy.
How the elements work, I dont remember anymore, but its similar system like in FKG, where certain types have damage bonuses against others.
I believe there was an Elemental wheel pop up in the game, that you could always look at and it would show you which color is strong against which.

Also - but this is a super long shot - I remember someone posted a picture with ALL the weapon type explanations and the row system here (I think it was here and not in Nutaku forum).
But considering how long its been, its gonna be buried somewhere deep in this thread.
I am sure you`ll recognize it should you stumble upon it (in which case please repost again) in case you went on a search.

Anyway thats pretty much all I can remember. As I said the game has been down for so long most of the memories of the mechanics I still posses are rather vague. And they sure are taking their damn sweet time with the launch. Was promised to be this year and looking at its, I wonder WHEN NEXT YEAR its gonna be...

I found the Elemental Wheel on Himeuta a few minutes ago.
Red Colour=Sensibility lol.

From what i have read it looks like they changed classes cause i couldn't find the current icons in the old version of the game.

Looks like the blond chick i have got is a Fighter Type. The other one with the hammer symbol i don't know. That Symbol didn't exist in the old version.

I was asking mainly cause i wanted to know if there is a specific Rainbow we should aim for gameplay wise in case i will get another Prereg. Rainbow in the near future.

I'll go for looks then. Can't go wrong with that, right?

You know what. I wasn't 100% in on the Christmas Cards as I didn't want to be overbearing again after requesting so many last year, but I'm doing it for Moon Vine damn it! Just got the most adorable card from her. I don't care how her voice is as that is so trivial compared to that smile and DAT BODY! She could sound like she had breathed in helium and I would still nut inside her all the same (albeit while probably laughing hysterically, but I digress...). Sending one your way Vol!

About the translations - don't worry about the amount you're sending.
As long as I can take my time translating them, I don't mind how many of them there are, since it is also learning material for me.

Unlike usual, the next maintenance is on 12/26 (Wed) from 13:00 to 17:00.

During this time, you should farm the new whaleship missions with swordfish crew. It's not that hard and a good (or the best?) way to farm 2nd affection gifts. First time we got this.

I will be trying to get my second choice girl until the game launches. With a little bit of luck she might find her way home.
