Yeah, listen to maotd. Dont be like me. I have over 1K potions by this point. Spent around 20 to farm the vent to get 30K currency for the future one and didnt even feel like I used any
At 400+ Stamina, the need to pop a potion is fairly occasional, unless you are farming for something intentionally, however you get so many per week, really dont be afraid to chug them down as necessary

It helps that potions don't restore a fixed amount so as your level increases (alongside your maximum stamina) potions get better. Once you have, say, 320 max stamina each potion is basically two free 80 stamina stages.

Right now, saving up potions is not an option, even if I wanted to, since the limited content eats up all of it. Most of them I already spent on blooming materials and now there's the Nidhogg store. And yes, I understand it's not truly limited, but it's a good chance to grab upgrade materials to build up the initial teams.

Just to say, in case, using super ampies on 5* girls is a really bad idea. Thoses ampies are very limited and 5* are useless past a certain point. using super ampies on them is more than a waste (unless you plan to promote the girl).
I don't say this for someone in paticular. Just a general advice for our new players toprevent them making a terrible mistake.

So, I see that there's going to be a bunch of stamina discounts shortly. Is there any mission that should be made a priority because it doesn't get discounted very often?

I don't know about anyone else, but I will spam the hell out of the Mori-Mori Coin Boost Saturday mission. A 2x Coin Boost Campaign and -30% Stam Cut Campaign for daily missions happening at the same time is quite rare.

If the reissues get discounted do those. You need 16 5* of each color to do whale missions and gold and manyu to level them.
Do it when its discounted get it over with. Then you can focus on what you want.
