Thread: [Chat Chit] DMM FKG

Congrats. I'm not nearly that far along but for whatever reason the only non-dupe 5* I've seen in the reroll gacha has been Spotted Bellflower. In terms of the garden though, a few minutes ago I finally picked up the last (for now?) pest for 1880/1880:

A new version in Chinese of FKG has started on Johren
It gives you a reroll gacha for 5 FG to start with. I went with Dendro.

So, it's the same game or does it add new stuff? Or it is just a total restart of FKG like they did on Nutaku?
Good choice for Dendrobium. I guess she is the best from early game to early endgame.

Its starting at event 134 (Flame Lily) appears to have reworked abilities included far as I can tell.
I just got Chocolate lily on a random gacha, so now I have a whopping two rainbows

Okay. I thought staring at event 134 out of nowhere was weird but it's the last rereprint event. That make sense. Good thing there is reworked abilities. I think it would be so hard to go back to the old ones now. The change was very confusing but it make things so much better and fun.
I guess the game is going well if they do a new chinese version.

I wonder if that means there'll be a 'new' English version of FKG some time down the line similar in release timing as Mist Train Girls. That is, MTG's DMM and Nutaku versions are roughly a year apart so when DMM is running a themed event (Valentine's Day, April Fool's, Christmas, etc) the Nutaku version is running the themed event from the prior year.

That way avoids the problem the Nutaku version of FKG sometimes had where events would be released out of sequence so that a Halloween event could be held around Halloween.

Nice. Good choice for all of them. I'm surprised you never got Anemone. She is pretty good and easy to catch.

The new 5* really looks like Snowdrop on the 6th Anniversary FM
She don't seems that great but I like her a lot.
Also, when I saw the event girl, I thought about Easter Lily copy. And there is actually a 6* Easter Lily for next time. And a new Chicori.
I guess it's another little sister event. Full of pink frills and cute ribbons.

Honestly, I hope not. At this point I don't think EN is capable of supporting "good" F2P games, or at least not enough for the developers to make it a priority. If one were to release, I would expect it is either killed within a year or experiences a Nutaku-level lack of support. It'd just end up being a false hope ending in more frustration.

...yeah, now that you mention it that's probably how a second English run of FKG would end. I guess I got my hopes up after seeing MTG make it past eight months so far on Nutaku with (mostly) solid translation work and OK popularity (not near the top but not near the bottom either).
