Now 10+1 is really slightly better since you will get 22 Rainbow Shards at the price of 20.

In the end, it all comes down to luck.
The game doesn't say we have different odds at 1 and 10+1, so all we can do is experiment on our own.
From my experience, I've had some 6* girls from single pulls, both on DMM and Nutaku and for a while I stayed away from 10+1, but hit a dry streak.
After doing a few 10+1 then, I had other rainbows, so I think it's a matter of chance.
In conclusion, I think 10+1 is better because of the extra pull and the Rainbow Shards mentioned by maotd.

This is beyond idiotic and further reinforces my hatred of the fucking gacha. 3* shouldnt be included for fucks sake...
Meanwhile some people pull 4 rainbows out of 300 flower gems.

I know your feeling bro. Last time, I got 2 Silver in 2 10 draw from regular gacha and I endend with a salt mine from FG gacha.
And yeah, 3* should be banned from FG gacha and their chance should be increased in regular gacha.
DMM knows that even 4* are trash (sorry 4*, I still love you). And they keep trashier trash in the gacha. At least 4* would be slightly better and less salty trash with their higher Bond Crystal value.

Yeah 3* should be banned from every gacha except the normal one.

Did you roll the current Event Gacha btw???

Sometimes i have the feeling some Event Gachas do not resonate well with someones ID though.
For example : It was insane how many bad rolls i had during the last Event. Stupid Swan Boat.
I am more and more inclined to believe the Vanilla Premium Gacha has the best chance to give us some Rainbows.
And yeah the "Normal Gacha Trick" fails a lot lately (even with Silver Pots)

I have the same feeling. On this eventI got all the featured girls in 2 rolls. On Easter event I got only two Hare's Ear and some random non priority girls lost in a deep sea of salt. It was even worst for Pigmy Lily event.

I was unable to get Hare's Ear on the Easter Gacha. I was only able to snag Primrose.

I think i got only one Rainbow from an Event Gacha.
Most of my Rainbows were from Reissued Gachas or the Vanilla Premium Gacha. Also based on my testing the "Normal Gacha Trick" works better there compared to Event Gachas.
The supposed priority in Event Gachas is also nonexistent...

Practicality-wise, 11x is superior than a single for that extra draw and 2 rarity crystals as mentioned by maotd/Volarmis. Regarding chances, I myself have always believed that the rates are applied on a per-draw basis, even for batches.

Personally, I've had better luck with singles compared to batches for the majority of my DMM stint (case in point: I wasted 600 flower stones or 12 batch draws on my waifu's gacha for nothing). My recent haul was an anomaly of sorts though. I don't see it happening again.
