Actually, it was like that as far as I can remember. Maybe only the first event like this didn't have that feature.

On another note, after some team reshuffling, I managed to complete the 60+80 stamina Niddhoggr stages for the first time.
I doubt I'll be able to fight the beast itself - the most I managed was till the end of its 2nd form.
