You are always short on gold on your first weeks. But quickly you will have more gold than you can even use.

You can turn equipement into Bond Crystal in the last tab of the main screen (the same tab than affection gift part). Then go on the mace and anvil part and search the bond crystal. It should be easy to do after that.
