I always feel that they are focused on the development of CM rather than on FKG.

I don't think they are the same developers. The blue names on the CM discord doesn't even exist on FKG chat.
I mean they could be, but with how the devs on CM act, I am quite confident they would at least be present in the fkg chat as lurkers.
