Eidolons are basically summons of Final Fantasy with added passive bonus in battles.

Princess are playable characters you can use in a party and can be controlled directly.

I've read the whole thing and I'm not clear - I do get the whole difference between Eldolon and princesses.

If it's been made clear, I missed it, and I apologise for that and also for if my grammar in a quick-fire thread wasn't up to some predefined standard. Could someone please be so kind as to clarify what the goals should be for people from this preregistration event?

From gameplay view, I think getting the PCs are better than getting turn-timed summons. But it is only speculations after all, as a guy who is familiar with JRPGs.

It seems luck finally smiled on me today, rolled the SSR* Evil Kaiser Dragoon Eidolon.

Now she is SSR, so I am keeping her for the moment, but should I keep her or still go for a R* princess ? (since R princess is the best we get from the gacha, to my understanding at least, dont think anybody mentioned if its possible to get an SR Princess from the pre-reg pool).

No worries!

Evil Kaiser Dragoon is pretty decent for a dark party; however, he is almost useless in any other element. If you plan to go dark, there's no harm in keeping her for now. Wait and see if you can get a more versatile SSR Eidolon or a good SR princess.

And yes, there are SR princesses in the pre-reg. I did a summary on some of the best SR princesses a few pages back.

Also, they're called Kamihime. Since someone else started calling them princesses in this thread, I just went with the flow as to not confuse people. But I should probably change it to Kamihime from now on.
