When I'm leveling up the skill level of my SSR weapons, I normally take the (probably pretty long) way of getting enough R weapons from the gem gacha (2 times the current skill level) and upgrade that way. When I get to skill levels past 10, I just use 20 and hope I get lucky for the next skill up. I know this is bad practice, so I'm wondering, if I skill level up R weapons, and then use that as fodder, does that work better? As in, can I have, let's say, 38 R weapons to use as fodder for the last level, skill level up half so that I have 19 R weapons, do those 19 skill level 2 R weapons count the same as 38 R weapons?

If you trust in the theory of gambling, then it's not that bad, actually. Basically, if your chances to win are above 50%, then it's worth the bet. And that rule holds true all the way to SSR slvl19, since you still have ~52% success chance.

... of course, the theory of gambling doesn't apply here since it assumes you get double back when successful, but in Kamihime you only get 1x return when successful. So with your gains halved, you're never above 50%, really

Yes. If you can be bothered, make some of your R fodder slvl3. I'd recommend sorting by Lowest Atk, and you'll always find the leveled up fodder from the front and non-leveled up from the back.
SSR slvl 10 -> 11: 19 slvl1 Rs + 1 slvl3 R
SSR slvl 11 -> 12: 18 slvl1 Rs + 2 slvl3 R
SSR slvl 12 -> 13: 17 slvl1 Rs + 3 slvl3 R
And so on.

I'm the only one with problems with the sound of the game? Right now the sound only works on battle and gatchas.

i play both in chrome and chrome beta.
chrome beta is like what you just said, i have sound only in battle and minor stuff, whole crome's sounds work normally
