I did some thinking after helping a user decide what to do with his Black Amaterasu and Gaia reroll, and realized that Dark Amaterasu entirely changes the Dark build strategy. Dark Amon / Satan are no longer required in a team with Dark Amaterasu. Instead, such players should aim for a Burst build with Shingen. They'll run Shingen + Ambush, Osiris (heals and synergy with Shingen), Hades, Thanatos (DEF -40% -> -50%), and Dark Amaterasu. That covers all core debuffs (including overdrive extension), gets DEF to -50%, and enables double damage with Bursts, allowing Dark teams to Burst right through Rage phases. This build is not possible without Dark Amaterasu, as it would require sacrificing either overdrive extension or Sniper Shot.

I added this to my guide as a third build for Miracle tickets, but I'm not sure if it's worth elaborating on since Dark Amaterasu is limited and therefore it'll just be a distraction to most players.

Imo for a burst oriented build, Satan would be a good (if not better) alternative to Hades (and then change ambush for Trial by jury) :

-You'll still hit -40% atk -50% def
-You'll gain -10% dark rst
-Satan's darkness lost and Shingen burst potential should be enough to avoid raging overdrive completely
-The only thing you'll really miss is the affliction block

This is a boss killer team, while a team with Hades will be better on trash for guild order for instance.

For those who will get Dark Amateratsu during next year reprint, Samael will be available at that time and will synergize better with Amon than Thanatos (-45% def, -25% dark rst...) But then its not a burst build anymore

edit : thinking about it i realise we wont get Satan's awakening before ~8 month. So meh... forget it i guess
