New light himes should be in the next release set but the more important light hime to aim for is SSR Artemis which won't be out for a very long time, like in half a year or so. So you can save jewels or go for the ones in a few days. Though another option is to wait for Frey's release inbetween. She's not important but the 100% light eidolon is released with her set so you can at least try for her while still having a bonus rate for new light himes.

so i assume there is nothing to do with soul point after you get all the soul?

As far as I know, absolutely nothing.

I wish they'd let us exchange like 300 Soul Points for a Half-Elixir or something, but eh. For now, they're just piling up.

It doesn't help that up till now DMM hasn't even released a single new soul...

Today I got my first SR Assault Weapon from Disaster Raid.
Well, it took me some Gems to increase the skill level from 1 to 10.

But what is the best method to increase the skill level fast?
And how should my grid look like? I mean how many Assault and Defender Weapons?

I try to create weapon grits with 7 assault, 1 pride and 2 defenders. Not counting doble skill weapons.
For SR weapons, I use R weapons untill skill level 10, then I use R weapons to level up SR weapons I dont use, and later use that one to skill up the weapon I really want to use. The required R weapons are from gem gacha.
That is how I do it. Is totally possible that more experienced players use other grits. I think many people use directly 10 assault weapons, but I like to have a bit more defense.
Of course, all the weapons of the element of the team. Weapons of elements different of the Kamihime of the element no increase skill for those kamihime.

Edit to clarify: Pride weapons have a variant of assault that give more attack the less HP you have.
