Replace Manes with Lu Bu. Manes is not as good as she seems, her cooldowns are far too long, unless you're fighting something that'll one shot your team 1 by 1 like light catastrophe and you already have Osiris for heals.

If you plan to get any Miracle Tickets for your dark team, getting Hercules' axe could be a potential waste of resource as darks have many def down himes. For example, if you had Thanatos, along with Nyar and Lu Bu, youd hit def cap without Hercules and be able to use Shingen with Black Prop (if you still wanted too.) Not that I'm saying to go straight for Thanatos but it's one of the possibilities if you plan to get a ticket for your dark team.

I'd say that Manes is good at what she's supposed to do (being scary when team is falling apart). Also pairing her with Andromeda can bring some funny results. I'd agree to replace her with Lu Bu in most teams though.

It could be potential gain too, get Satan AW and with Herc's Axe you have 50% def down, opening 2 slots for whatever Kamihime you like (though in this situation Shingen with SS will do too). It really depends on what you have on hand.

Agreed on replacing Manes with Lu Bu. I've been running her and that 10 turn cool down is forever.

I'll be going for a dark pick on my next miracle ticket. Sanhatlig's guide suggests either Hades, Amon, or Satan. Would you recommend Thanatos over them.

If I do go with Thanatos, Osiris, Lu Bu, and Nyarl, should I still go with Hercules and eventually Provisional Forest or just stick with Hercules and her Axe?

The picking up of Thanatos leads to a team of Thanatos, Osiris, Hades, and Lu Bu next...

I dont recommend mtix on hades, shes not core honestly. I would go with Pluto or Satan.

Grab Thanatos if you're planning to use Shingen, otherwise you can grab anyone if you're gonna use Hercules as you can reach the def cap using Nyar, Lu Bu and Hercules's max break limit ax. If you plan to get Thanatos, there's no need for Hercules as you can reach def cap without her, meaning you'd be better off with Shingen. Regardless, I'm sure you can clear the current content with either souls and whomever you get as long as you level up your grids.

Though I don't recommend tickets on Hades or Amon. I personally only use Hades for her atk down and Amon's only use is her -25% def down, which in that case you'd be better off just getting Satan for her -15% def down and -10% dark res which is basically the same.

If not Amon, Hades, or Satan what would be a good Hime to get for Dark? Hercules is in about two to three weeks... Shingen needs Holy Soul Points which will take time (but I have no issue with that route either).

I'll stay of spending for Hercules axe for now also.

Thanatos or Satan would be my suggestions. Then Pluto. Maybe Chernobog after but I haven't ever used her, though I hear she's rather strong. Samuel will be out mid-December but I don't think she'll be available in the upcoming miracle ticket, I could be wrong.

If you don't plan to use Hercules' ax, you may as well not use her at all then. That's really her only use if you don't even have Shingen unlocked to use PF as an ex skill. Hercules can hit hard I guess but that's about it. You may as well stick with Mordred for Black Propaganda and a free ex skill slot in that case.

Do remember that getting Thanatos/Lu Bu/Nyar means He has to throw either Osiris or Susanoo from party (as Susanoo is probably not AW then it's not that big, but if she's AW then it'll be quite some damage loss).

This is... just wow.
It's like people see in Hercules just her DEF down and nuke. While I do agree that not using her Axe is basically not using her to full potential, I feel the need to remind people about her other aspects:
Ability 2: +30% ATK, +20% double attack rate, +15% triple attack rate, +30% burst gauge gained to self for 5 turns (7 turns cooldown for Herc)
Ability 3: +30% DEF, 30% reflect, some affliction resist, 300 regen every turn to self for 5 turns (7 turns cooldown for Herc)
Assist 1: Some ATK up (probably something like 5% or 8%, nothing really important)
Assist 2: -1 turn cooldown for abilities (including EX ability)

What do we make of it ?
First: she's fast. Not Shingen fast, but fast nevertheless. With team with Thanatos and Osiris you'll need some faster Soul (Shingen, Morgan, Herc or Arthur), if you don't want to end in situation when team is ready for Full Burst, but Soul still is sitting at 70 or 80 BG.
Second: She's tanky. When under buffs from third ability, she recieves about 45-46% less damage than other unbuffed Souls (depends on how much Master DEF bonus you have), also makes stacking damage cuts on her easier. When light rag starts deleting party members, there's a much higher chance that Herc will live when hit (at least through one nuke).
Third: Her second is helpful in some situations (having 5 turns cooldown for Sniper Shot instead of 6 turns makes GO run more smoothly for me) and has some rather niche, but powerful uses (3 turns cooldown for cleanse instead of 4, 4 turns cooldown for dispell instead of 5)

I mean, yeah, 25% DEF down at burst with her weapons is her biggest selling point, but saying it's really only good thing about her is like saying, thay Mordred is only good for Black Propaganda and forgetting about 10% ATK/DEF debuff, blind, dizziness and affliction resist down.
