And I don't think he means to show off. It isn't just about raw stats after all but finding out how you can hack at it with less than optimal resources. As for having a sizable collection of SSRs, it's nice to have a little bit of spare cash to spend on the game, no? I wonder if there are so many dolphins here, how come there is so much focus on optimal teams rather than actual game strategy?

Ah, but first have some context, he's a 2 year old vet compared to my one year old account. You may get the impression that I'm a super DMM vet because I talk a lot of future DMM content... but that's the power of future sight when taco is behind by 1 year. And that I talk to players who also know about the DMM future. Doesn't mean I have to have a godly grid.

Friendly reminder that the light grid I have is pretty much the best an f2p player might get for now... give or take another +/-10 % assault and +/-10-15% defender. Dolphins don't usually get enough to significantly influence their grid either. Spice on the other hand... well you ask him how much he spent.

And for more context, we are indeed talking about a guy who does whale, who does actually do videos (quite frankly, crazy long ones) on the game, but somehow lacks the resources and the knowledge about the game? I do struggle to understand how RNG can fuck one over so hard for him to have less than optimal resources after spending thousands on the game.

Also... optimal teams are strategy. You can argue work with what you have, but ultimately the meta teams still win. Welcome to gacha games. We have cookies.

Even doing something like Tiamat with a soul weapon is still 70% when you cap both.

My only issue with accessory quests anyway is that a fucking platinum chest won't drop for shit. cause that light team that so many want to shit on so badly around here, they're clearing ALL 7 DAYS OF AQ4 IN ROUGHLY 7 MINS OR LESS. CLEARING. IS. NOT. AN. ISSUE. Not sure why there's such a damn elitist stigma around here where you have to have 60k atk rating and do like 10 mil damage bursts or something. I want to CLEAR CONTENT, not make it my bitch. Save that power hungry BS for players that actually want to top leaderboards. I just want the good event stuff, and then to move on.

If your concern is clearing content then I can put it to you this way, your grid won't save you from future content. Hell, even I'm sure mine won't. You can just start burning in... 4 months then.

Then again, you don't seem to understand that clearing content means you actually do something like touch 15F tower. Getting 10k medals is a goal to improve, not a "Oh I got this amount of things I cleared the game!" kind of deal. What you want is to scrape by the game. Don't mix the 2 together.

Then if you tell me that's end game content and not worth clearing... does anything more need to be said?



Moar edits: The baseline I want to say is this, your grids are not strong. You want to know what the problem I have with you is? It's that you continue trying to justify why having bad grids is ok in this game for everyone.

You see the issues I'm seeing? It gives me the impression that you're saying "I have a trash grid, but it's ok as long as I have xx and x." It feels delusional to me. You already lost, you know the issue, yet you actively avoid the problem with your own justifications. And worse, those same justifications begin to creep into your advice for other players. I've seen it, I'm sure a bunch of other players have.
