No, wait. That's not what it means. It means...

Further testing seems to conclude that 12% Atk and 12% HP modifiers from Master Bonuses is simply added to base stats. Adding a weapon with 100 Atk and 100 HP will give a Soul 112 base Atk and 112 base HP. Okay, good to know. Need to remove those panels from my damage calc. And check Master Bonus Def calculations, sigh.
