Again, this problem goes to EVERY element, not just Dark. New players can't get Sloth weapons for Water. Or Pride weapons for Light. Or Lust weapons for Wind.

It is rather difficult to get a better start than what you did.

Dark doesn't have all that many great SRs. Maybe Beelz? That Berserk is surprisingly good. Or Diana (Moonlight Archer) for heals? Notice, that is DARK Diana, NOT Light Diana.
