Do all the Eidolons effects matter or just the main and support?

Just asking cause I'm not sure if I should use only dark eidolons or mix it using the ones with higher stats.

only main and support apply aura. additionally in Kamihime support only apply aura if friend.

other eidolon element do not matter and are stat stick, and later on when game is older u build a selection of Eidolon active ability that useful, example dispel boss, defense up, AOE blind, clear debuff on party, and so on.
