Hey guys, I've been planning to work on my weapon grind for a bit now... but I'm a bit stuck on which elements to focus on. I definitely want to have Fire as a main but I figured having a backup secondary focus would be nice to have too. Would listing the Kamihime I have for each element be good or should I list something else?

Your secondary should be Thunder.

Because it counters your main team's weak element.

So now that the raid event is wrapping up I have something like 400k gems. Is there anything more worth spending gems on than a bazillion 10x gacha pulls? I plan on still having around 100k gems lying around so I can upgrade himes and whatnot when the opportunity arises, but is it worth holding onto more (or less) than that?

If you are playing for the long haul, we will have an Accessory equipment system in the distant future. That requires a lot of gem. I'm saving mine for them.

At this point, leveling your assault skill on your primary team should be your primary goal. That's where your gems should be going, especially if you can't clear Advent Ultimates yet.

I can clear experts with no problem, Ultimates take a bit of work, and I have yet to clear an Advent Ragnarok. Is there a better (read: easier) way of upgrading skills than just brute force 10x normal gacha-ing and throwing all the results at the primary team weapons?

Yes, you should be enhancing intermediates after weapon skill LV5, then using those intermediates to enhance the weapon of interest.
