Oh shit, so you do. I haven't even noticed that part.

Well, even leaving that aside...

Let's consider the following:
0. As a premise, we can say that debuffs and buffs are the %, correct? Like Arthur's 20% to all and Gawain's 20% def down. From SRs, you can expect 15% damage buff or 15% debuff, etc.
1. For you to get double damage from buffs, you need 100%. For you to get double damage from debuffs, you need 50%. Debuffs are already twice as good as buffs.
2. Debuffs are always up (assuming they don't get resisted), whileas buffs are closer to 50% uptime. Arthur's buff is up for 3 turns out of 5, so 60%. Debuffs are almost twice as good as buffs, so in total, almost four times as good already.

And we haven't even considered that debuffs are multiplicative yet. Meaning that the more of them you stack, the better they get (though this is getting capped at Valentine, which largely hinders - though does not negate - this point).

Really, the only direct damage buffs worth your time is Berserk. Mostly because their damage increase is insane (75% to double damage generally) and stacks with debuffs. If you have -50% def debuffs up and you use double damage Berserk, you're already dealing quad damage. Words cannot describe how insane Fire SSR Beelz is going to be because of this.
