You use 3 of either as an entrance fee to start the Red or Blue Ygg raids.
After which is consumed immediately as soon as you start it whether or not it fails or succeeds.

Their only use is that they're used to open Expert difficulty raids for the Seed of Despair event. They drop from the Standard raids.
