Okay, I deleted the original scenario folder and added the new one into the game folder. After I did that, I launched the Kamihime Player and the new characters you added weren't added. It's still the same ol' launcher from before. What am I missing?

adding stuff without updating the launcher to integrate said new stuff wont do
you're mainly missing the updated script and config files in the "game" folder
use the MEGA link from the main post (first page, first post, 2nd sentence)
download the 29/12/2017 update
extract where you should (overwrite everything, no need to delete anything beforehand)

So, I restored the original scenario file, I entered the updated scenario file and selected all, and extracted it into the original scenario file so I can replace it. Got it. Alright, what's next?

BOY OH BOY! NOW IT WON'T LET ME DOWNLOAD THE LAUNCHER AGAIN BECAUSE MEGA IS BEING AN IDIOT! You know, all of this would go a lot smoother if maybe, just maybe, someone would upload a tutorial on how to do this step by step. Because right now, I'm all over the instruction manual.

Okay, I'm taking the config and script and adding it from the updated version into the Kamihime Player 1.0 and it's forever stuck on not progressing. Is this supposed to happen?

Just so we're clear, I'm using Winrar to extract and such. And I mainly use Winrar to extract mods from Gamebanana into TF2 and mods for the Sims 3.

Nope, it works perfectly fine for me
I only overwrote with what's in the 29/12 update
sounds like you deleted something you shouldnt have
try redowloading the whole launcher again (unless you still have the archive on your HDD) + apply update on it

and please stop spamming
in case you didnt know, there's an "edit post" button
and when you're editing a post, there's a "delete" button

Alright, I extracted the entire Kamihime Player 1.0 and made it it's own file. I opened up the update with Winrar and used all the files and such with the new update to replace the original files. After I did that, what do I do next?
Edit - Well when I launched the launcher, nothing changed, besides reverting the launcher to a previous state when it listed the names of the characters by each letter. Including two new ones I never seen before: "(" and "U1"
This is all maddening. Forgive me.
