Do you guys have the error of missing python27.dll file?

you have to install python 2.7 using an installer to fix this issue as its a file the system needs

EDIT: Python 2.7 doesn't have DLL. Well, for me anyways. The download I did for Python was, "Windows x86 MSI Installer (2.7.0) (sig)"

i had 2.7.14 from the python webpage as i do python from time to time, so i had everything already. didnt have any issues running the updates

Then why is DLL missing? People even reported they had problems with this about DLL not being found, and saying Python 2.6 has it. Would the player work using Python 2.6 instead of 2.7?

the player itself works even without any python installation on your PC as it is created using the RenPy engine. The only thing that needs python are the update scripts for downloading assets and creating the RenPy files the player loads.

As for if 2.6 works aswell, i can only make a guess based on the code that it should work as i havent seen functions added in 2.7.
However setting up 2.6 correctly with the needed modules is most likely more work than re-installing 2.7 (try using the newest 2.7.14 version)
