Gonna need some help here.
Ran into this when I started running the download assets program. Not sure if the files have anything to do with it, Diabolos is after Demeter in my nutaku folder, and I accidentally threw in a zip file into the folder. Removing it didn't fix the problem either.
Remember how I was looking for ASMR done by one of the Voice Actresses in this game? I found one. It's Eligos's VA. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdoMC3Dd6YE
Subtitled as well. Enjoy your blowjob.
Huh, I didn't expect you to ask...
But here's a couple of common dere types in anime.

Tropes, basically.
I'm not that tech-savvy, but this almost sound like you have desktop.ini file in nutaku folder. and it might be hidden, since I think this type of file might be hidden, hence why you don't see it.
try turning on "show hidden files and folder" in folder option and hopefully you can see and remove it
huh that's weird. and I thought it would make perfect sense too since desktop.ini would come after demeter and before diabolos, alphabetically.
try to: 1. backup your whole nutaku folder (you could just change the folder name to nutaku2)
2. create a new folder named nutaku with just one kamihime (pick one that's from letter a-c) folder. the player should work fine and download asset don't delete your other files if they don't see the kamihime folder.
or the only other option I could think of is to start fresh with the kamihime player from the original downloaded zip (hopefully you still keep it for backup).
at least you should be able to copy the whole asset folder, since that doesn't seem to be the source of the error and that takes the longest to work with, downloading assets and all.
I hope you don't have a virus or something on your pc, because I seem to recall virus that create desktop.ini back in my college days...
