It depends on your main team. Do you main fire? If yes then IMHO MLB fire assault SSR weapon is better than a SSR eidolon. Also SSR assault gun is hard to come by, especially if D'artagnan line is in your horizon.

I'm a little skeptical about your idea of event shop refresh. Yes the shop refreshes at daily reset, but the only items affected are minor things like the Eidolon upgrade material and half-elixir. In other words, once you exchange any other items, especially SSR weapon & Eidolon, till the stock runs out, the price shoots up dramatically. You can kind of get a sense of the price spike through exchanging a copy of SR assault weapon, if you wish.

I dont think I have thought of a main team concept until I noticed the mono element team advantage and mono element weapon stacking during the Yggdrasil's event. Based on my list of SR/SSRs I own, I think Water and Fire is probably going to be what I'll end up focusing on. I'm working on my 3rd legendary line now, but I'm not sure who I'll need to go. I like Modred's ability, but I do not have Sol to let me replace Andromeda on harder difficulty content. I'll probably end up getting both the SR as I need more weapon for my fire team.

Yeah, just figured that bits out based on sana's reply. Didnt have the opportunity to observe the advent shop mechanic during Phoenix/Apocalypse event as I was too busy farming for a copy of the eidolons & weapon. In this case I'll probably start on maxing the eidolons and SSR weapons first then work on the SR weapon later. I suppose grimoires are best to be farmed during union/raid event...
