should i use fafnir (0 stars) or MLB typhon on my eidolon list? (not main)
fafnir can increase attack and defense, but her attack and HP is lower as she has no star, and ty[hon increase only attack but have more attack and HP as she is MLB.
Here's how you go about answering the question of which eidolon is better (for you!):
    1. Look up the specific percentages for each skill in the buffs/debuffs section of the JP wiki
    2. Go to my Toolbox and punch in the numbers for Team 1 with Fafnir in the Assault and Eidolon comparisons tab, then Team 2 with MLB Typhon. If you don't have MLB Typhon, add the difference of their Attack stat from Team 1's attack power to determine the team attack power of Team 2.
    3. Use the Adv DMG calculator to factor in the eidolon ATK buffs. If you're merely interested in the added spike damage, set "Turns without Burst" in the Assault and Eidolons comparisons tab to 0. The simulation assumes that ATK buffs are used to buff DMG skills and Bursts.
    4. Get a result and know which one is better based on your situation. You can further customize the Team on the Team customization tab, which is currently set to my team of characters by default.

Ended up using a elixir on my attempt at Ragnarok Typhon. Died because I ended up eating 2 raging overdrives. Figured as much, lacking the HP to handle multiple overdrives on a light team. Full burst with attack buffs AND def down debuffs couldn't reduce its meter fast enough. Think I might take Siegfried's one skill that reduce rage meter faster. If I can get it into stun, then I pretty much win.

Is this the only "rematch" that will happen for these two? Wasn't around for the original event, so if it's not coming back again that means I pretty much have to zerg one and ignore the other completely, which I'm not looking forward to . I'm assuming it will come back again at some point (or hope anyway) but unsure.....

Given the fact that Ixion just got a second reprint, there's a good chance that it will >eventually< come back, but chances are, it'll be a long time before you get it again. Of course, Nutaku seems to have diverged from DMM's event sequence, so it's anybody's guess right now.

It depends on your capacity to take both ultimate advents down, even if you last long and or lose a few himes in the process you'll be making progress, for now I already have 4 Garuda's and the items for the last one, but I'll wait to see if I can drop it same for the staff, already have 3
Good luck to you, I'm done with Garuda, guess I have 6 days for Typhoon

well Garuda ulti is way easier due to Void/Null debuff skill lacking... but mb i was too drunk yday or whatever, her Ragna forced me to eat an elixir and still i died with quarter-inch of her health remaining

i.e. way easier than Typhon i meant

can you count all the mistakes i did in this battle? can you watch it till the end?
    1. Not using that many damage abilities during normal (non rage) phase.
    2. Using only one ATK debuff when it was about to burst.
    3. Not using Joan's shield buff when there is still plenty of turns left before rage.
    4. Forgetting to turn off burst making Oceanus use solo burst.
    5. Not waiting for ATK buff to run out and started attacking.
    6. Nike's shield buff should have been used on the first charge of the orb when its not in rage (if BProp is not available) allowing you to still mitigate damage from the burst on the buff's last turn while starting up the cooldown of your DEF buff early (5 turns) which allows it to come back off of cooldown by the next time its about to rage.
    7. Should have used Circe's x5 damage when it cleansed.
    8. Triton's ATK down debuff and Joan's ATK down debuff should be used alternatively before each burst instead of saving it for the BIG rage burst since those two can't stack. Or simply use Triton's debuff whenever its off cooldown and save Joan's.
    9. Triton's ATK rate down should be used whenever possible.
    10. On the turn it was about to rage burst, you should've used all attack abilities on your characters except Circe's charm. Because if you wanted to maximise your damage, sticking two DEF debuff that guarantees 2 turns worth of damage is better than separating the two DEF debuffs which overall have a lower net damage as well.
    11. Should have pumped in a few turns worth of normal attack damage first and waited for the 90 or more burst on Apsara. The size of the rage meter correlates directly with the rage build up, depletion as well as how much damage can be taken during stun. If boss easily fluctuates between normal, rage and stun you can bet that it won't take much damage in its stun mode (Example Union Demons, Prisoner of Wind, Yatagarasu). The opposite of that would be Typhon and Prisoner of Light <-(I bet you that you will never see her in stun mode).

You asked to point out your mistakes. ¯\_( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)_/¯
