I just realize just how stronger i got compared to when i first started. My team can autobattle ultimates , and i fucked up on the ragnarock and died when it was at 20% left. I'm pretty sure i can do it with a different setup.

I'm still not sure what they were thinking when they came up with these two. Medusa who can literally spam petrified, which not only sticks with quite a high chance despite the debuff being OP, but also deals quite a big AoE dmg.
Meanwhile Rahab would be strong enough to beat many other advent eidos with the default 2 orbs already thanks to her stackable buff, but they went out of their way to make it single orb charge.. and to top it, it's a water boss, so good luck finding debuffs for thunder. o7
Well.. I might manage to beat Medusa rag for my usual R team run, but I don't even have 6 thunder R hime to begin with for Rahab.. but I probably wouldn't be able to beat her with Rs, anyway.
I tried these 2 rags today with just my dark team, since my light and thunder teams aren't strong enough to handle ragnarok difficulty yet, and I did just fine with them on the previous ixion/yata rags so I thought id be fine for this one too, but boy was i wrong
I couldve handled medusa's ragnarok with my dark team if it weren't for that petrify spam that hits me like 75% or something most of the time.. ugh
is there any good strategy I can use to beat Medusa rag? since it feels like i have to rely on RNG and pray she doesnt spam that petrify but she does it anyway
and rahab ragnarok also, since her self buffs paired with raging overdrive just kills you fast.... :l
If you can't do Ultimates, you're not going to LMB anything. So grab whatever you can that will make you stronger.Medusa Rag is ridiculously strong.
As said by others, a friend with Behemoth will get you one turn. But you'll still take damage from AoE. Ultimately, it's a DPS check - can you get to Full Burst while still alive (and not stoned) or not?
Rahab is very much the same, but not as bad. Those without Sol/Pumpkin Artemis are pretty much boned since she just goes apeshit on your ass in just a few turns. It's still possible to beat even without them, but you're just going to need be very strong.
For Medusa, I think affliction protecction (Mordred Viccisitude, Amon, Poseidon...) is more useful than affliction cleansing.
Sorry for double post, but I have a question.
A friend and me have both cleared Medusa with a only Wind team. And neither of us have completed the mission. Rahab is also wind and the mission is completed with no problem. Someone else have the same problem? Maybe Medusa is also a copy-paste mistake and it must be done with other element?
Edit: Just saw it. The mission itself says "thunder clearing" ><
It was spoken off a couple pages before and haven't seen it. I feel a bit stupid right now ><

I've only very recently started to look into this game strategically, so my team is pretty cobbled together (focusing on Rahab because of my only SSR):
Main:
Cassiopeia (max lvl)
Nemesis (lvl 40)
Nike (SR, 50)
Meretseger (40)
Poseidon (~22)
Sub:
Cybele (~22)
Baal (40)
Eido:
Water Kaiser Dragoon (main)
Elec, Water "regular" dragoon
Lindwurm
Bugbear
Furfur
These are just my highest level/tier units, excluding fire (Amon 40, Kagutsuchi 40). I also have a pool of untouched rares, I can list if needed.
Anyway, I've (impulse) bought a Rahab, nothing else for either side of the event. The team can auto Beginner and auto Standard (if I step in to activate a single heal). Expert is impossible, or I'm just bad at managing skills (I end up running out of enemy buff clears, or debuffs to enemy). Which items from the events should I prioritize getting, and which difficulty should I farm?
expecting the "worst" case scenario, the advice is to reroll because i have garbage units(?)
