It's way better to give this to people that are recently starting or midway to a good team than 45% eidos, that way the customer feels bound to spend money to get the good stuff (AKA 50% eidos or even the whale-trap ones).

the only good thing would have been the thunder attack buff... and only for thunder teams....

except i've long gotten a bunch of lv100 eidolons that easily overtake that...

but hey, more ixid blades are welcome.... if they drop that is... if they didn't restock the supply then i have little reason to do this event... i'd just take the jewels, drag eye shards, and half elixirs and stop there.... (maybe the books too just to have them). if i do miss out on that stuff, then oh well
