Thread: [Event 74] Tower of Malice vs Dysnomia Nero

Whelp, even though I improved my score by about ~1000 from my first tower, it feels like another set of disappointing tower runs for me.

I could have done better on F11-F15, and I even familiarized myself with the triggers this time around, instead of just going in blind like I did for the first tower. (I say this though I actually still don't get everything about the F15 triggers: does that 65% trigger still go off even if you get it from above 65% to below 15%? On my off-element run, that kinda threw me off.)

The main problem was almost every run in F11-F15 was 1 turn off the turn counter for an extra 10 points. On 1 floor, if I just had the right sub in first slot, I would've gotten the extra 10 points, simply because boss had the tiniest sliver left and any ability would've killed it, but I put some R hime that had no dmg ability as first sub for some dumb reason, so had to use an extra attack turn that put me over the turn counter. 4 out of the 6 runs in F11-F15 were just 1 turn away from an extra 10 points, and I should've easily salvaged them all. To quote a famous disrespectful doctor, "stupid fucking mistakes man"... stupid fucking mistakes.

Anyway while I'm disappointed in myself, I still have to consider the fact that I've only thrown away less than $200 on this game since I started. So in the grand scheme of things, I guess the results aren't too shabby for what I had.

I was actually seriously considering it too since it is my most comfortable element, but then I chickened out last minute lol. Your final score was 10670? I know how much you love your maths and you probably calculated out all your damage numbers per turn and such. Honestly, that's what I should've done to probably salvage an extra 40 points but I'm just too lazy for all that. I like to just go by touch and feel ya know..? (though that's terrible for tower stuff since you only get 1 shot... haha oh wells, no one to blame but myself) Anyway let's hope we can still hit top 50. I believe the rankings might be much tighter this time since I'm assuming probably everyone improved their scores from the first time since they got to learn it then. Which means it's possible we might miss out on those 5k medals for top 50 at this point, which is really all that matters. Guess we'll see at reset.

And on the end, Slashley and VERYVOODOO are both on rank 16, congratulations. I ended on rank 71, so no bad either.
