    Sorry..im including my question here...

    What is the highest MR and Def observed in...any unit/enemy...

    i bet we dont have a unit/enemy with 90%~100% MR...

    Also (this is off topic)

    Has there been any map so far which cant be cleared even with a full AW+skill AW team so far in DMM/Nutaku...
    (in other words has there been any map which cant be beaten with just brute force..)

    The reason i ask this is...when i get struck in a map which cant be cleared with an unCCed team i start CCing my units...then i AW them..then the DMM players can further SKILL AW them...
    bt what will happen after that??

    i dont think there is a map thats unclearable aha at best it might just require some weird units but there wouldnt be any unclearable. the map has the be clearable but can be hard as shit. there might be maps out there that are pure unclearable unless you have a certain type of unit.

    Odette had 100% MR on her event (as an enemy)

    There is also a boss golen with 60K HP, 3500 DEF, 60 MR, 5200 ATK

    But the map itself made everyone with 90% MR

    It is possible to get Sophie up 80 MR on DMM. This requires having another unit with the awaken ability of giving all units +10 MR. Additionally, Sophie's awakened ability will then double her MR when active, causing it to go up to 80 (normally it would be 60 due to her 30 MR).

    As for the highest natural MR among obtainable units though, that would so far be Cynthia with 40 MR on her own (which can be raised to 50 with the previously noted unit).

    There is also Odette who has a skill that at max is akin to giving units 20 MR, but it actually does so via reducing the attack of magic enemies by 20%, thus if used with a Sophie possessing 80 MR would presumably result in her taking 16% (20% of the reduced 80%) of the total damage rather than 0% (admittedly as I don't play on DMM I have not tested this to confirm).

    As for how defense works, in case of archers it should be like this:

    Archer's damage 100 vs def 50 = 50 damage, 100vs90 = 10 damage, 100vs100+ = 10 damage with a chance of ricochet dealing 0 damage.
    I'm not 100% positive on that though, but if def is higher than your archer's attack, then attack wont penetrate a lot.

    Does the same apply for pirates and cannoneers?

    physical attack calculation: (attack - def) or 10% of attack, whichever is higher.

    as for deflection, my understanding is:
    archer arrows have a chance to be deflected if their attack is lower than target's def. Other physical damage does not have a chance of getting deflected.
