Samurai are underwhelming. Great idea in theory but they lack the staying power for their cost to play. If they cost about the same as Soldiers they could be decent. Too niche and you can't deploy them fast enough.

I'm not too wild about Silver Bandits. No idea how rarer ones are as I have never had any. By contrast Silver Valkyries are cheaper and glean points from kills so I prefer them. Ideally I'd use neither but depends on what I have.

I had a Pegasus Rider with my first account and I could never get it to work. I liked the idea of it though.

As far as Black units go I rolled Sophie pretty early on. A lot of the time I use her as a pinch hitter which makes her considerably worse than a lot of black units from a starting account perspective. I have 2 Princesses (gold, platinum - picked up the gold one around time I got Sophie) who hold down the Duelist fort well on their own. But I can see the potential with Sophie for harder maps in the future as a lightning rod or ganker.

I wouldnt complain about sophie, she is like 3-4 samurais combined into one in her skill duration and she's not a lightning rod but lightning herself. Im wondering what she'll get after her aw comes. (nice art too) But she maybe the worst black where dorania not counted.
As for pegasus rider, the only thing that keeps me away from using stella is she might get one shot from most bosses while in the same level even a silver bandit could endure and there are 4 units in my barracks that could easily outperform stella about anything except that letting through skill but it isnt really needed. I really want to use her even if i had a bunch of blacks because i want to see that big ass bosses passing through her while she uses her skill. Guess i'd be more happy if i'd get other plat peg rider and would use her 9/10.

Edit: Everybody saying things about silver rogues but in low level maps Etheternal made good use of them. Dont expect them to fight bosses :P Btw i didnt levelled cypria is she useful at all? Guess she is the worst plat
