Sigh... let me make this clear for you:

1) Maribel is an upgrade to those who only have Leanne, Bernard and/or Garret.

2) "Almost every other situation" had "the others" before it, referring to the other HAs: Bernice, Gellius and Deine. those 3 are simply better blockers in almost every situation you do want 4 blocks.

3) Where did you get "Leanne will surely survive anything with 3 healers"? She's a freaking SILVER! NOBODY is going to expect her to tank "anything" heal support or not.

4) Without skill, Leanne is comparable in durability to Maribel until Maribel hits high AW'd levels.

Maribel only catches up in Defense DURING SKILL WHILE AW'd. HOWEVER, due to her large HP advantage, and the fact she kills stuff faster, plus faster skill timer and longer duration, her durability becomes superior at late CC levels without REQUIRING AW to be superior in durability.

The entire discussion arises from the fact she needs skill to be clearly superior in durability to a unit two rarity tiers lower than her (though with skill she is about 100 defense under Deine with her AW buff included but with about 600 less HP; cheaper though). We're not saying Leanne is a godly tank because she simply isn't. She IS a good tank for her cost and rarity. Clear?
