    i guess it depends on how much attack speed she gains , but look at her skill. In terms of pure stats mehlis was already not that far ahead of the 2 other goldies. Now she loses aoe as well , on top of not gaining damage (dunno why i said range..lol). Imagine this : cyrus and barbi hit almost double per hit , in a 4x area (compared to mehlis , because she loses 50% , while the other 2 will hit in a 200% aoe).

    It all depends on how fast she gets to attack and how many enemies are pressent. Having a 200% range slow cannon is pointless if there are only 2-3 , whille having a minigun with 50% aoe would be way better.

    Lafate missed out that cyrus and barbastroff AW skill (both have the same AW skill, just like Cloris and Belinda) also self-paralyzes after skill ends.

    A half second delay certainly removes any misgivings I had about Mehlis. She should still be OK for mop up duties thanks to the range increase and she looks to be way better against pockets of armor.

    and then you realize yuyu is actually a cheaper alternative to mehlis pretty much. although with slightly less stats of course.

    Losing the team-wide magic resistance active on Odette kind of kills the point of the unit. D: Especially considering how much of a pain it was to gain 20 ranks in it.

    Yuyu's SAW turned out to be good after all? Was annoyed that she lost her identity as a witch thanks to it, but if she's a cheaper mage instead, I guess that's fine.

    So Cyrus/Barb turned into Garania, and Garania became Garania 2.0?

    that's pretty decent. Most of us have crap mages outside of odette. Getting more dps out of the goldies is good. actually i dunno how to feel about odette's skill. Guess she improves her own and her allies dps against magic resistant monsters , but at the cost of losing her defensive skill , which was honestly the reason i've finished quite a number of boss battles before i got a decent mr duelist in claudia. I'd rather have 2 odettes

    not really. cyrus/barbie just gained bonus atk multiplier, while garania is also increasing her damage. and yes, I was never against yuyu's SAW. I believed her SAW was decent because +range +attack. obviously she doesnt have mehlis's stats and multipliers and attack speed, but mehlis mincost = 30, vs yuyu's mincost 10. yuyu's increase atk and range multipliers are decent enough (40%) for a 13 cost (full cost) unit in my opinion, even if you have to replace her eventually.

    50% MR reduction is more useful actually, especially for bosses and stuff. works very well with multiple witches/mages/necromancers etc. it doesnt feel much in nutaku at this point because we've not gotten those 1k def 80 MR enemy units though.
