Since you need cc Silvers for awakening, I assume you do cc30? Also, at what times would you use gold units for awakening, never?

Personally, I do so when I happen to have extra duplicate golds of the right class, and don't plan to use them for CR/skill up. Admittedly I could safe them for when Rainbow Crystals come, but generally I don't feel the need given how few they would give. Still, using golds vs CC'd silvers is just a situation of having them and personal preference for if you want to.
