That, and you only get 1 guaranteed Pallis anyway. He's annoying to bond but like I said, it's hard to be picky about your AOE damage on a young account.

@Lolix: good point, except due to the discrepancy between Charisma and Stamina usage on Spirit Rescue and Crystal Keeper dailies, you can still get a couple story maps in on those days even if you do the dailies (assuming no Stamina refills with SC). Crystal Keeper H IIRC is 60 Charisma and 6 Stamina which is 3 and 6 hours of regeneration respectively. That's 60 charisma you can use on story maps per CK H run. Will he raise his witch slower that way? Absolutely. Is it worth it? I personally value Spica enough for it since I don't value witches that highly until the later story and daily maps which he's not ready for (considering he can clear up to War of Magic with non-CC Yuyu/Belinda and maybe a few other units in Phalanx 2, witches shouldn't be THAT high priority yet)

@Kayfabe: I don't even bother raising Trust on males I don't intend to AW. Their bases are naturally higher due to being much harder to raise Trust, plus the bonuses are much smaller than Affection bonuses. That said, it is indeed hard to be picky about the AOE damage on new accounts, so if he wants to raise and CC Valerie earlier than even the Duelist, he's welcome to do that, and it's not a bad idea.

I liquored him up but then again, that was back when the only reliable alternative to Val was throwing your DC at Cyrus and running into the same problem anyway. It would have taken 10+ months for the free stamp card booze to get the job done.
