I've been grinding on low Charisma maps (5-10) also did a lot of low stamina quests (2-6) .. Although I don't know the maps u are talking about, I will try for them... so far my team needs powers really bad... I got new soldiers and I got the Spirit of Silver (pic here: http://imgur.com/a/T5nwW ) any advice on how to use it ?

p.s. Strangely I noticed that the game is taking a lot of time to load and let me put my soldiers, does any of you noticed that ?
Return to Ruins has fairly high drop rates for units used as leveling fodder for your army, but abusing it can kill your gold supply, especially if you use the irons in combination rather than selling. Deep Forest Road is good for gold, but not so much for leveling fodder. Both are inferior to Remnant Vanquish 3 for leveling Prince (which raises max Charisma so you can run more maps), and for gold/unit XP it sits between the two. Ultimately, you want to grind as high a map as you can until you reach these 3 maps, and then depending on what you need, grind the appropriate one.

Further down the road, Dragon Hunting is tops for Prince leveling until you clear Immortal Beast/Base Scramble 2 which is tough for newbies. Fiery Oasis is Return to Ruins (Unit XP grinding spot) except even better unit XP and not so hard on your gold supply. Base Scramble 2 is an upgrade to Remnant Vanquish 3. But that's much farther down the road, so don't worry about this paragraph right now.

As for the Spirit of Silver, it along with the Spirits of Gold, Platinum and Black are used in 2 ways: leveling units and for Class Evolution (upgrading your units, it resets level to 1, raises cap for Gold and above rarity units, and sometimes gives new abilities; it does increase UP cost by 3 though, so certain units it is recommended to hold off on, Phyllis being a prime example). For leveling, I'll give an example:

You have Phyllis, a Silver Soldier. You combine her with a fodder unit that gives 150 XP. Four of such units would be 4x150=600. However, mixing in spirits gives a multiplier instead of flat addition. Matching rarity (Silver Spirits in this case) gives x2 and additional spirits multiply in further, like so:
    4 fodder = 150 x 4 = 600
    3 fodder + 1 spirit = 150 x 3 x 2 = 900
    2 fodder + 2 spirit = 150 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 1200
    1 fodder + 3 spirits = 150 x 2 x 2 x2 = 1200

As you can see, 2 fodder + 2 spirits doesn't give any less than 1 fodder + 3 spirits, thus the latter is reserved for when you are using units above bronze rarity (read: not readily farmable, for example, you have 2 copies of Gellius, a Platinum Heavy Armor that's obtainable through shrine only, if you want to Cost Reduce/Skill Up, you'd want to use the extra copy plus 3 platinum spirits for max XP gain)
