Don't panic yet; you still have a bit over a week to get Noel.
If near the end of the next week you're still just barely short of completing maps 4/5 and you're willing to spend the SC, consider buying shrine boosts to give you enough of an advantage to 1* the maps.

And thank you for your own reply. I do agree with you about Pastoral Gate, but most of my units are already level 30. Feeding them irons and bronzes is nothing but a waste of gold, isn't it? Considering it takes 6 irons alone to even go up by a single level. I'm not sure I believe that veteran players farmed a map or two for weeks on end to even get a single unit to level 50 and ready to CC (Although I suppose I can be wrong. I've certainly dealt with a fair number of games that are nothing but grind on end).

In regards to farming affection items I think my biggest gripe is simply that you get 12 stamina. Period. That's it. And you use that stamina for over half of the game's activities. Wish you would get at least +1 when you level, or at least refill them when you level. Challenge quests, daily quests, events, don't matter. You run maybe 3-4 missions with your stamina, and then you're done for the day. Maybe I should have started out at DMM instead of here; seems like DMM version knows what's up. Oh well.

I do have Katie and Cloris, but passed them up for other soldiers and mages. Guess I'll try them out some time.
