Yeah, the vengeance mechanic was overvalued by the devs so she ends up pretty niche. There's worse class abilities--e.g., Sword Masters effectively don't have a class ability at all--but oftentimes it doesn't matter because the units stuck with them compensate in other ways. Rowanna and Dorothy by contrast seem like their theoretical power discouraged the devs from making them powerful in practice. Eventually the situation will get a bit better by virtue of a balance patch that gives small buffs at 90% and 70% health but that's a long way into the future and it's awful hard to imagine Rowanna competing for a spot with Imelia or Sword Masters as freebie physical duelists or Miruno & Angels as freebie immunity. With all that said, the gacha plat Avenger isn't completely terrible--she has high attack and her AW skill drops her to half health and gives her a multi-target ranged attack that allows her to perform adequately as tank support.

I have Thethis (not leveled yet but thats one more reason not to level Rowanna), I realy like Rowannas Artwork though shes one of the best in all Aigis. At least for my taste. I will get one copy, maybe two - ill see. I was too lazy to beat a few of the last pesky desert maps (last time tried befor rebalance patch) and Rowanna could actually swipe on maps with health decrease on deploymend as every unit suffers from it until you get your first healer out. Thats another niche for her. Maybe im going to toy around with it.

In all honesty, pretty much every desert map comes with tight UP requirements or with other units that need to be placed first. I wouldn't level her for that kind of niche role when most of the time you'll want to place something else. Especially when her UP cost is rather high.

To put it like this: Anything a desert map will throw at you will either be so weak that a soldier can handle it AND give you UP regen, so strong that it needs a healer + tankiness, or require magic damage. In either of these cases she's rather useless.

Invest in her for stun immunity or collection purposes or because you really really want to use that specific unit for some reason. But if you want to invest in her for niche availability you're more likely to be going to burn yourself.

Adding to that, Leda will be added to premium summon too. First thief unit in the game and can help farm for non-unit items (affection/trust items, all types of crystals, etc.). However, I would suggest not to use them if you barely make it through a map as they do buff ALL enemies' HP and ATK by 1.2-1.3x in the map.

Also daily Easter egg login present.

I'm torn on the thief news. On the one hand, I want those extra drops. On the other, I'd rather have Anita even though I have no earthly idea how any of her clothes are supposed to work.
