I was curious to check this out and I can confirm that the earliest collection events (Karma and Warriors of the East) and subsequent ones lasted only for two weeks.

I honestly cannot imagine an event lasting for a whole month. Granted it would make perfecting the unit a lot easier but it would get tedious rather quickly I imagine.
