Regarding niche units i had time to 50cc50 khuri and verotte and also -2up +2su, have no artillery officer though yet. Im so happy i was able to get decent Imelia and i will need that plat valk after this event. My best duelists are Themis and Elaine if i wouldnt have Imelia lol. So im actualy pretty happy its a valk (kinda core unit).

The first event I felt ready for was the Waltz event (I did ok with Imelias event but was juggling unit building and doing the event so didn't get a huge CR on her.) and I managed to complete all missions only to find out Waltz event was easy. So I am guessing this event will show me just how good my units really are. Which is good, I am at a stage where I need direction with my unit lvling as I am lvling the units I like first as my core seems to be decent at this stage.

I have quite a few valks from summons, my strongest are Elaine and Kerry. I have yet to lvl Thetis and Dahlia so I pretty much have all valks in aigis except for this event one and Clissa though I only really use them if I need high HP units as I usually use Sybilla in their place or Imelia.

Youre lucky, the only plat unit i pulled from shrine was Marnie, yes right befor the Waltz event. No black at all and no plat other than that also. Got Fedora, Themis, Conrad, kujuro and cuterie as golds rest silvers. So i dont consider myself very lucky. Thats all i have besides what a freebie can get. I dont even attempt eastern missions, i saw what even Key Kii did struggle with common units to just 1* the first map lol
Btw i just did Desert Scorpion and am now leveling the artillery officer (have more then enough pirates to cc her luckly) just in case shes gonna be another niche unit ill need, if shes done i actualy have nothing to level again and farm gold until the event starts lol

You don't have to be a vet to complete these two maps with at least 1*, as well as being a vet does not guarantee you a blind run through high maps.

didnt say it did. but the vets will have event units and maybe more premuium summons. probably have ahigher chance at 3* then anyone else and by the looks of those maps its pretty much pass or fail. like with most maps that have liches. you either totally fail or just pass with 1* if you have have the units 100% needed

I've started playing Aigis over a year ago (so I guess I'm a "veteran"), and I can tell for sure that amongst event units there's only a few who can prove useful against liches (Imelia and Claudia). About premium summons... Maybe I'm a big loser, but after a few dozens pulls for a last year only plat+ units I have is Lyla and Marr, so being a vet doesn't mean much at my opinion.

Love how I'm still not getting all drops on maps after like 4 runs with 1.5x what a joke.. should be 100% drop first run every map ffs or double the drop rate

Hmm watching the video of the G map now, and rubbing hands in glee, starting with 30 up means I'll be dropping my AW-Shuka first and taking advantage of the -3 up deployment cost passive. My AW-Elizabeth should also be a major asset especially versus those vamps.

Honestly compared to the 7th map the 8th seems easier, with 30 hp to soak you can afford to slip a lot of units through instead of crazy blocking so I would think 2* would be achievable for quite a few people. Because on the 7th map unless you can tank the litches and especially the boss their going to rip up your whole formation and cause all the enemies to pass though.
[Just noticing on re-watching the video 15 hp and total enemies of 51... so if you can hold solid and get 37 enemy kills you can pull out all of your units and soak the remainder for just one star loss. Not pretty I admit but better a clean 2 stars than just scraping 1 by trying to achieve 3 if your team is inadequate.]

Guess DMM players can get a feel on how Emilia's event will be now that her revival is up until the end of today. Her event is pretty gimmicky as some maps won't let you deploy certain type of units like heavy armors, melees, healers, etc.

15 stars down, hopefully be done tomorrow after stamina regens. Going to guess Calliope will be subbed in for the other witch yet again.
