I've been playing 3 months now and while I see how breaks are good for new players so they can lvl up there units and get ready for events. I'm at the point where without events I'm bored of the game. There is nothing new for me other then just lvling high units when I get armors and wakening when I have the DC. Other then that there is no progression for me. Needs to be just something instead of breaks like gold rushes or something. Something to do other then log in doing commissions and phalax 2. Or the odd daily depending on the day. But that's my opinion

If events would be more forgiving, for example star events: give full units at 15 stars instead of 24 and from start to 16 they give items, silver units etc. so higher levels could be more hardcore and veteran players could farm items while having a bit more challange and newer players do their "levelling" after getting 15 stars. Collection events are more pain in the @$$. Ppl recommend me using claudia but mine isnt like them which is only -1 uc'ed and 3 su, how do i finish her skills? its 7 goddamn rainbows left. Game is never forgiving for new players.

...Not gonna comment on breaks again (even if I do enjoy them) and advice everybody to do the same. It is getting us nowhere and only fans the pointless flames.

And newer players can perfectly do their levelling without getting the perfect unit. One can do nearly everything with unreduced plats (and creative application of silvers).

Besides, Item Collection events are not measures of your team's strength, but rather your wallet's thickness.)

Even that is pretty debatable. A little bit of restraint is all it takes to turn any event into a net positive for newbies--the first two or three maps are virtually always a softball thrown in as a bone to new players and thus are an easy source of crystals as long as you can resist the temptation to keep beating your head against the maps you can't finish. Angst over missing an event unit is typically rather misplaced since frankly most of them aren't very special.

there was a whole tornado of arguments and not-really-arguments about why they are good and why they aren't, if you have read the whole thing the general consensus was "if you want a break, then a break is good for you; if you don't want a break, then a break isn't good for you" end

that's why it's tabooish mentioning it
