4 runs on daily, got 1 Plat armor. 8 runs on GR #1, still no Julian.

except there is no need to get all the gold units. not all of them are necessary and some of them can be skipped, like garrett (since there's bernice) and iris (good to have but not critical since you're only gonna be using her as CR/SU fodder)
but we already gotten 3 more days then the jp, so there's no point in not farming monday daily, especially for those newbies who're struggling to catch up and could do with more gold to level units through RtR and exp armors for their higher level units. 14 days instead of 11 is literally a break thrown in our faces. we used to ask for breaks so we could farm resources, but now a break is given to us and we don't farm for resources?

also, under your 'miss 70~100k' logic, you'd also be willing to miss thursday daily for thursday's map which would result in newbies delaying their spica/saki.
trying to rush up a julian right on 1st day even though we have 14 days is pretty stupid, IMO. especially for those don't have the luxury of actually doing so.

I actually wasn't going to skip Thursday because demon crystals are much more useful then 100k gold. Also 28 stam in still no completion reward.

Except you're assuming things. The fact that i'm willing to skip gold , doesn't mean that i'm willing to skip demon crystals. That being said , i don't understand your weird fixation on saki. She is hardly a high priority.
Also , yes , i agree that garret is a crap unit , but you know what ? I have 1 account with literally only leanne as a main tank. And we both know that most events right now will require at least 2 decent tanks. Garret is crap compared to bernice , but even he is better then nothing.
I can't believe that you're actualy thinking that newbies are better off with 100k gold and 30 dcs (hell , they probably aren't even able to do teh hard dailies for DCs if they are newbies , but let's assume they do) then gold units , no matter how bad those are. Oh , and if we're honest now , the only really bad 1 is probably garret. The rest are at least decent

So let me get this one straight, needed around 20 stamina to get Julian but only needed 4 to get Garret? Should have honestly went for Monday daily as many of you suggested but oh well, I'm not in dire need of exp cans or money at the moment so it's not that critical. Will stock up on affection items today instead.

Let me explain the logic of why I did it. In the game its advertised as a Gold Rush where a new map with a gold unit is released every day. In daily events you have a single day to complete as much as you can, then it resets to the next day's maps. I thought that was what was going to happen in the gold rush event - you get one day per gold unit to get it and if you miss it you lose it. Its a rush after all, you get it fast while you can.

Now I know its not like that. The second day has ticked over and the first day map is still there. I did not know that before and I didn't see anyone say anywhere that its how it actually works.

From here on I do what I can each day and maybe take breaks to farm dailies where needed. The sense of urgency the event implied is not as bad. Lesson learned.

i just don't get the last thing in reward, "we can earn 22 SCs" but there are only 11 missions

I think it was just a typo, hit 2 instead of 1.

Also 36 stam on the first map still no completion, second map took only 4 stam though so that's nice.

I got the same read as you from checking out iceinhell's blog as well. Seems like it might only last a day, but I read some posts at the forum saying other wise and i decided to risk it because julian was not high on my list compared to 300k gold. 300 gold = 2+ CC which i really need to form my final core team.

300k gold seems a bit much , and would require 50 armors. Assuming you get a max of 42 stamina naturally , that's 14 runs. Probably 12-13 realistically speaking since you won't have the charisma. And that's assuming you start at 18 stamina (lvl 200) right at the dayroll , and then use 24 more stamina untill the next dayroll (you probably won't use 24 , but 23 because the next dayroll will happen 1-2 minutes before you get your 24th stamina point). Anyway , assuming you're not lvl 200 , you're going to do 10-11 runs. You would have to get 5 armors in almost each run to get to 300k mate. Getting 200k in a day should be quite good.


That being said , it depends on how much you need thhhe gold , and how much you prize the gold units. As i pointed out , rng can be a bitch. You can get all the gold armors in 1 run , and you can get 0 the next one. The same can happen with the spirit drops in this gold rush , but the spirits have way lower drop rates.
In the end , you don't have to get all the gold units i guess , but if i were to chose , i'd still take a gold unit (even if it's garret >> which is by far the worst gold unit we have in this gold rush ) over 300k gold.
That being said , i'm not saying that my way is the right one. Hell , it might actually be the worse way of doing things , but i don't think that it's worth beating youself up over losing 1 day of dailies. I'n the end it's all rng. For example , i got julien after 4 runs and i went doing dailies on 1 account. The other got julien after 11 runs , and i still got to do a couple runs of dailies as well. Others haven't gotten it even after 20 runs. It's all about luck
