I believe it's supposed to be -1 cost to all melee units when deployed. what's with the proximity thing o.o fancy choice of words
That is exactly what it says Sora. It reduces all proximity units cost by 1. Saying Melee wouldn't really equate to Assist units like a ninja or magic swordsman that attack from ranged while in a proximity slot (yay correct terminology!). It could potentially lead to confusion. Granted I could say melee-slot unit, but that doesn't sound as nice.

only problem is some people actually thought you meant it reduces all unit cost for units deployed within range =P haha.

So I have had like 15 rainbow fairies for months now and I want to get rid of them. I know skill awakening is not happening anytime soon but I want to plan ahead.

Iris seems like a sure thing to skill up for skill awakening and she is my best healer.

Thetis seems like she could be interesting but the double unit point is only active when the skill is active.

Spica's skill awakening seems like it would be really nice. Mage/archer hybrid.

I have seen a fully awakened Liddy and she destroys maps. I have not really used her much but I was thinking of skilling her up so she will be ready when the time comes.

Despara is my only black and her skill awakening turns her into a fast attacking short ranged mage. Does anyone have any experience with that? Is it better than just more damage output from her overall?

Hoping to get some input. Is there a sure thing? Any thoughts?

I am not new to Aegis, but not a long time vet at this point. I have a question if I could have some help with it...anyone have advice on the Awakening missions? I managed to get two stones in one for the heavy infantry and magical sword....but I think that was mostly luck at that point. Do I need to max level all my units that I send on that mission or is there an easier way to do it?

I think checking out video guides is your best bet. some of them do require a couple of max level'd cc'd units if possible, coupled with a bit of support from low cost bronzes.
