Breaks are actually quite unnecessary in Aigis, because the game is designed to function without them (just ask anyone playing the jp version). Constant events gives out a bunch of SCs, which can then be converted into stamina/charisma and used as needed (be in to level, farm, or even on the shrine). Once in a while, a breaks can be a thing, but it also needs to be accompanied by the double drop rate event, basically serving as a good time for you to dump the resources (SCs) you accumulated from prior events. In that manner, it is an event in its own way, but it will only seem so if it happens fairly rarely, like once a month (or otherwise it will get old very quickly - like how it is in our version).

The breaks we have now aren't really breaks. They are just the devs being lazy.
