Date and Katakura are a good combo. I Made Date an Elite Crimson Rider, which works okay, but I'll swap her to something else when I get more Elite jobs. I think either Ghost Ninja or Elite Samurai?
Kojuuro has defensive skills and can take the place of one of your defenders, so Commando or Guard. My Guards always do minimal damage, so you could try a secondary tank Commando, if you need extra damage. Otherwise just Guard job.
/edit Kojuuro doesn't buff other characters. She gains atk/def as long as someone else is alive.
